David is Ahead of His Time

David MaGee was an out of trade apprentice for a significant period of time. He joined Jobs Fund (CHOOSE employment) in July 2010 and was referred to Julie at NGT Tasmania.

Julie worked closely with David to determine his needs and goals and was able to reinstate his apprenticeship with set a time frame for accomplishing this. David’s apprenticeship was due to be completed by 12^th October 2012 however, it was essential for David to complete his qualification by 29^th April 2011 to be within the time frame set by Jobs Fund.

Through hard work and determination both on the job and at Tasmanian Skills Institute, David completed his final competency way ahead of time and has now achieved his Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery.
