Daniel secures his dream job

Daniel Hardman was employed through NGT in May 2010 as a Civil Construction trainee for the Devonport City Council. Over 12 months Daniel worked towards gaining his Certificate II in Civil Construction. For Daniel this was a great opportunity as he enjoyed “getting out and about all the time, and being able to do something different”.
Near the end of Daniels traineeship an opportunity arose at the council for an automotive apprenticeship, hosted by NGT. Automotive was a field Daniel had always wanted to work in so NGT and the Devonport City Council worked together to assist Daniel in securing his new role.
Daniel completed his Civil Construction traineeship on the 30th May 2011 and started his new automotive apprenticeship the next day.
“Civil construction was a good lead up to automotive” said Daniel “There was always someone to talk to at NGT. They were a great help through my traineeship”.
NGT is now working with Daniel and the Devonport City Council as Daniel undertakes his Certificate III in Automotive, due for completion 29th May 2015.
