The Frontline Management Workshop includes:
Implement Operational Plan (BSBMGT402A) - Register
This unit specifies the outcomes required to implement the operational plan by monitoring and adjusting operational performance, producing short-term plans for the department/section, planning and acquiring resources and providing reports on performance as required.
Promote Team Effectiveness (BSBWOR402A) – Register
This unit specifies the outcomes required of frontline managers to promote teamwork. It involves developing team plans to meet expected outcomes, leading the work team, and proactively working with the management of the organisation.
Show Leadership in the Workplace (BSBMGT401A) - Register
This unit covers the best practice for management techniques.
Coordinate Implementation of Customer Service Strategies (BSBCUS401A) - Register
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to advise on, carry out and evaluate customer service strategies based on feedback and design strategies for improvement.
Promote Products and Services (BSBMKG413A) - Register
This unit covers managing marketing activities.
Identify Risk and Apply Risk Management Processes (BSBRSK401A) - Register
This unit covers preventing problems before they happen.
Implement Continuous Improvement (BSBMGT403A) - Register
This unit specifies the frontline manager’s involvement in reviewing, implementing and monitoring continuous improvement systems and processes, reporting against performance, and consolidating opportunities for further improvement.
Monitor a Safe Workplace (BSBOHS407A) – Register
This unit is concerned with OHS responsibilities of employees with supervisory responsibilities to implement and monitor the organisation's Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area to meet legislative requirements. This unit has been adapted from Generic Competency B in the National Guidelines for Integrating Occupational Health and Safety Competencies into National Industry Competency Standards [NOHSC:7025 (1998) 2nd edition].
Establish Networks (BSBREL401A) - Register
This unit covers creating new business through using your contacts.
Develop Work Priorities (BSBWOR404A) - Register
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to plan own work schedules, monitor and obtain feedback on work performance and development.
Fees
Full qualification - $3800.00 per person
This fee is inclusive of workshop attendance, learning materials and assessments which may take place on or off site.
Workplace based, no workshops - $3300.00 per person
This fee is inclusive of workplace based, learning materials and assessments which may take place on or off site.
Attendance at a Workshop, Assessment and a Statement of Attainment - $350.00 per workshop
This fee is inclusive of workshop attendance, learning materials and assessment which may take place on or off site.
Attendance at a Workshop, no Assessment - $240.00 per workshop
This fee is inclusive of workshop attendance and learning materials.
NB: Federal Government Incentives of up to $4000 per person may be available to employers to assist in offsetting the cost of training. Contact your nearest Australian Apprenticeships Centre to determine funding eligibility.
