Baking Apprenticeship

NGT Tasmania and a leading Sorell Bakery are looking for enthusiastic people who wish to commence or continue their careers in the baking industry, whilst undertaking the trade certificate of Certificate III in Food Processing (Retail Baking – Combined). This position will be working on a rotating roster with early morning and weekend work involved.

You will need:
- Excellent communication skills
- Organisational skills of a high standard
- To be a team player
- To be reliable and punctual, with excellent presentation
- A current driver’s licence is desirable
- Sound Numeracy and Literacy Skills
- A passion to work in the baking industry

You will be:
- Preparing/Baking bread and pastries
- Preparing sandwiches
- Handling cash and providing customer service
- Undertaking necessary training to gain a nationally recognized qualification in Certificate III in Food Processing (Retail Baking – Combined).
